My six-year old son plays the violin. This past weekend he had a recital at a Raleigh nursing home. A dozen kids played what Christmas songs they'd learned. Oliver, my son, was up to bat first with Jingle Bells.
Soo, my wife, whips out the super camera and starts taking pictures. Sitting in the front row, much to our surprise, was former US Senator, Jesse Helms.

"Look at these beautiful children," he kept saying while applauding lightly.
Yet another thing I love about Raleigh, NC. Everywhere I look, I see a powerful relic of note. This place is the greatest place on earth.
