Is there any reason other than tradition that the Super Bowl has to be on Sunday? Wouldn't it be a better party on Saturday, when most people don't have to worry about work in the morning?
We're not talking about San Diego at Gonzaga here (which is what was on Saturday evening). If you move the game, the people will follow. It's the 100-million-viewer gorilla in the room.
Last night I was a homebody and had no trouble, but other years I've been at someone else's party an hour from home, etc. I've heard the end of more than one Super Bowl on the car radio.
I'm just sayin.
